Alex Annunziato, raised in Miami, has been shaped by service and is grounded in the realities of our courts. Throughout his career, Alex has worn many uniforms and carried numerous responsibilities: as a Florida State Trooper, a naval officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, an Assistant Public Defender, and a seasoned civil trial attorney representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Over the years, Alex has stood beside those who too often feel unheard—offering pro bono work for immigrants and victims of domestic violence—because justice only matters if it’s accessible to everyone.

Alex doesn’t speak about fairness as an abstract ideal. He has experienced the high stakes of litigation from every angle: the pressure on families, the demands on lawyers, and the necessity for judges who listen, apply the law evenly, and maintain a courtroom where professionalism is paramount. Alex’s personal journey through addiction and recovery—open, honest, and well-known—has only sharpened his commitment to accountability, humility, and the dignity of every person who comes before the court.
